The new VMX901DAB moniceiver builds seamlessly on the success of the popular VMX900DAB. Based on a proven concept, this new generation has been systematically refined; featuring a new Linux platform, a large 9-inch multi-angle touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, it offers state-of-the-art infotainment for almost any vehicle. A special highlight is the clever click system: the entire 9-inch monitor can be quickly and easily detached from its mount, allowing you to take it with you or stow it safely. The VMX901DAB runs on the latest Linux platform powered by a new, more capable chipset. This ensures faster system response, high stability, and exceptionally smooth operation—even when using wireless smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™.

 

A particularly practical new feature: you can continue listening to DAB+ or FM radio even while navigating with Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. Navigation prompts are displayed automatically, with the radio volume briefly lowered during the announcement; the selected station then resumes automatically.

 

Physical buttons for greater ease of use: the touch-sensitive buttons previously located next to the volume control have been replaced by high-quality physical buttons on the VMX901DAB. These physical buttons are easier to locate and operate while driving, meaning you need to take your eyes off the road less often - enhancing both ease of use and safety.

 

Detachable display for easy portability: the VMX901DAB’s 9-inch control unit can be detached from the main device in just a few simple steps, making it easy to carry with you or stow away securely. This allows you to avoid leaving the high-quality monitor visible in the vehicle when necessary - a particularly practical feature for motorhomes, vans, convertibles, or vehicles left parked for extended periods.
